A couple of months ago I decided to devote most of each Sunday to doing something fun with Jennifer. While we see each other often, it is usually a quick "drop in" versus really spending time together. So far our Sundays have run the gamut of sharing special events to sharing ordinary tasks. We have gone to museums, played card games, gone grocery shopping, browsed in bookstores, had dinner together, and the list is growing. We also recently went on vacation together for a whole week of fun and quality time.
We both look forward to this intentional connecting time, and while what we do adds to the fun and pleasure, it is not the most important part. Spending time together is.
Grateful for these special moments with Jennifer,
Colleen
I had the pleasure of celebrating my birthday with Jennifer. We had a delicious and leisurely meal with relaxed conversation. It was perfect!
Gratefully,
Colleen
I continue to be grateful every day, reflecting on what I am grateful for as I savor my morning cup of coffee, as well as at other times throughout the day. However, I have found that posting it online has become a "to-do" versus a source of joy, so I am discontinuing the daily posts. I may post a special note of gratefulness periodically, and I invite my readers to do the same.
Thanks for sharing this journey with me. Create a great, grateful year!
